CFP Class of 2025 = 91 Teens

CFP just concluded another successful Cyprus program in the U.S. These teens did an exceptional and enthusiastic job and all were wonderful ambassadors for CFP and for Cyprus. Each of the three hosting areas had a full, fun and fast-paced schedule of peacebuilding and leadership programs, that also included a variety of historical and cultural events.

Our Cypriot camp program, run entirely by our Cypriot team, was delayed due to the wild fires in the area of the camp in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. Thankfully, the danger has passed and the camp is operational now. Similarly, our Middle East camp, run by our Middle East team is taking place now as well.

Creating Friendships for Peace is indebted to our hosts for opening up their homes and hearts to the teens; without them we certainly would not be able to run our program. We’re so grateful to our Area Coordinators who did the hard work prior to and during the program. Thanks also go to all those who worked together to make it a success, including our chaperone team of Karen Cahill, Yiota Kutulas, Jessica Ambrose and Vern Haas, as well as our transportation logistics coordinator, Kim Bell.

Planning for next year will begin in the Fall so we are already looking forward to Summer 2026!
