CFP’s Peace Cranes

Each year our campers in the Cypriot camp are challenged to fold 1,000 origami peace cranes in honor of Sadako Sasaki and the peace symbol that resulted from her struggle to survive the bombing at Hiroshima.  Since the initial challenge, each year’s campers have succeeded in meeting this goal during their free time.  The cranes folded by CFP’s 2018 Campers are displayed prominently at the Home for Cooperation in the U.N. Buffer Zone. Well done, Campers!
