Steven Aiello

Co-Coordinator (Central Region)

Steven Aiello has been involved in Jewish-Arab MUN work in Israel since 2011, and has run over 30 conferences and 15 delegations abroad for thousands of students. Steven is Jewish, Israeli and Italian-American. He studied economics (BA, NYU), diplomacy and conflict resolution (MA, IDC), and Islamic Studies (MA, Tel Aviv University). Steven is an Executive Board member for the NGO Committee on Sustainable Development-NY, and Project Officer and Dialogue Expert at Asfar. He is a native English speaker, fluent in Hebrew, and can make a fool of himself proficiently in Arabic.

Yasmine Masri

Co-Coordinator (Galilee Region)

Yasmine Masri is an Israeli- Arab/ Palestinian English teacher. She has been an English teacher since 2011 in Deir Al-Asad Comprehensive school.  She finished her English Master in Tel- Aviv university in TESOL. Since 2015 she has participated in the Access program. Access is a program that develops English language skills amongst economically-disadvantaged youths. It introduces and exposes them to the American culture and society through enhancement activities.

In 2018, Yasmine was selected by the staff of the U.S embassy in Israel to participate in IVLP exchange program. Through short-term visits to the United States, participants (English teachers) had professional meetings that reflected their professional interests and supported the foreign policy goals of the United States.
